SubliMobi is a free software for your mobile phone.

On what mobile devices does SubliMobi work ?

SubliMobi works on most  cell phone devices. However some features may not be activated depending on the capabilities of your phone.

Why do I need to download SubliMobi ?

Downloading the application is required to access more services and with a much quicker and nice interface than Wap site.

Is the SubliMobi software free ?

Yes, the SubliMobi software is totally free. However the use of the news and blog download service may incurr network operator billings. These expenses are sometime linked to the quantity of data you download. This is why SubliMobi downloads much less data than your network operator portal. We are also displaying the amount of data on the download screen. In short, we want you to have the best possible experience at the lowest cost.

How do I configure my cell phone Internet access ?

Most cell phone are already configured by the network operator when they are sold. However if this configuration is not done, please visit :

USA : Cingular AT&T  (Account login then "Auto configure device")
USA : T-Mobile (Then select "Set up t-zones / T-MobileWeb")

UK   : Orange (Then choose your phone in the list)
UK   : Vodafone (Choose your phone and use the Configurator)

Can I interact with cell phones that do not have SubliMobi? What interactions are possible ?

Yes, you can interact in several ways with non SubliMobi cell phones:

• Scan and see cell phone names in the Local Chat menu for cell phone that are close by even if SubliMobi is not installed or running.
• Declare a cell phone as a friend and be alerted each time this friend is around
• Send a virtual business card to all other cell phone, so that they install SubliMobi and chat with you
• Send an sms to anyone with news item (horoscope, sport results, ...) read in SubliMobi
• Send an sms to anyone to invite them to use SubliMobi (Invite a friend menu)

Nethertheless, it is not possible to start a Chat with a non SubliMobi cell phone.

Can I declare a non SubliMobi cell phone as a friend in Sublimobi? If my friend's Sublimobi is not switched on, will I still be alerted ?

Yes and yes. Friend alerts are based on the bluetooth feature of your friend cell phone. Friend alerts will then work anytime your friend bluetooth is switched on whether SubliMobi is installed and turned on or not at all.

In the video on the web site, how does Michael find out the name of the girl Natasha ?

Each bluetooth cell phone has got a name that is visible by other devices. Lots of people change the default name (usually the cell phone brand or model) into a more friendly name. If you play with the Scan feature, you will meet lots of new people and for some of them you will already know the name. Quite an ice breaker !
